This course covers the principles of basic food safety and their implementation in the workplace. Suitable for all food handlers in the hospitality industry. Covers cleaning and sanitising, food handling, temperature control, personal hygiene, pest control and waste disposal. This course is nationally recognised and satisfies the requirements from the unit of competency SITXFSA001 Use hygienic practices for food safety from the Hospitality Training Package. Upon successful completion students will be issued a Statement of Attainment for this unit. Ideal for those seeking work in the hospitality industry.

Suzanne has over twenty years of experience in the hospitality industry and uses this experience to provide innovative RSA training to her students. Holding numerous diplomas and certificates, Suzanne is well qualified and draws on her industry experience when teaching students.
With a Bachelor of Applied Science in Food Science and Technology, Melanie teaches Food Safety at Monash Training and Professional Development drawing upon industry experience. Melanie’s bright personality makes her an engaging trainer who is capable of passing her passion onto her students.
Shanelle’s goal is to train future Early Childhood educators to become the best educators they can possibly be. Shanelle uses extensive industry experience to deliver Cert III and Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care at Monash Training and Professional Development. Shanelle is also a qualified Food Safety trainer.
