BSB51918 Diploma of Leadership and Management
The BSB51918 Diploma of Leadership and Management is a highly sought after qualification designed to develop your leadership skills to management level. This course will assist you to develop initiative and judgement in planning, organising, and monitoring employee’s workloads as well as your own.
You will learn to communicate and support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements and strategies. Learn to identify, analyse and synthesise from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others.

You will be required to complete a Language Literacy and Numeracy Assessment. Please see student handbook for more information on the LL&N Assessment.
Sufficient written and verbal English language skills, basic word processing skills and experience in a team leader, managerial or supervisory role.

Once you have been accepted into your course, you will receive an email roughly one week prior to course commencement. This will include student log in details and information about your Zoom classroom.
Credit Transfer is a process used to recognise qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by any other RTO or TAFE. If you have successfully completed any of the units in the course in which you are enrolling, or their equivalent, you may be eligible for credit transfer. Where credit transfer is granted you will be considered to have already successfully completed the unit(s), and will not have to participate in training or assessment activities for that unit(s). In determining where credit transfer may be granted, MSA Training and Professional Development must be confident of the currency of the applicant’s knowledge. In fields where practice/technology is changing rapidly, credit transfer may not be granted where knowledge of unit(s) has dated.
MSA Training and Professional Development will recognise AQF qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by any RTO.

RPL is an assessment process that gives an individual (you) an opportunity to gain formal recognition—i.e. a qualification or statement of attainment— for knowledge and skills you have attained through informal learning, work and life experiences. Also experienced in delivering Certificate IV qualifications in Leadership and Management, Business, Retail, Business Administration, Training and Assessment and Certificate I,II, III in GEA as well as teaching English.
A demonstrated history of assisting students to continue a lifelong learning journey and achieve their goals. Passionate in coaching adults in a professional context, international students and assisting adults with low literacy and numeracy skills, minority community groups and disengaged youth. Skilled in classroom facilitation, workplace training, traineeships, not for profit organisations, coaching, case management, curriculum design, working autonomously and within a team.
Sherry is a dedicated and enthusiastic professional with over 18 years of experience in the VET industry. Sherry teaches Cert IV and Diploma in Leadership and Management, as well as Cert IV in Training and Assessment, using industry experience to provide an innovative education to her students.
Using skills gained from extensive experience as a Human Resource Development Professional with over twenty years’ experience, Matthew teaches Cert IV in Training and Assessment. Matthew is a strong communicator with excellent leadership skills and he has an ability to pass these skills to his students who benefit from his organised training method.
Vicky teaches Cert IV in Training and Assessment as well as Event Management at Monash Training and Professional Development. With extensive experience in the vocational education sector, Vicky is an organised and passionate trainer.
